hi people do not use dial a phone read this to find out why

hi NEVER use dial a phone as my mum tried and never got her phone here is her letter telling you all about it I have used letters as names as it is very long it is saying that she ordered a phone was lied to and misleaded and will never use there company again
Dear Sir/Madam

I am writing this as a very upset customer who will never use Dial a Phone, nor any other company affiliated with you. Furthermore I fully intend to tell everyone I can think of about my abysmal experience with your company.

On Monday, 14 Nov 11, I cancelled my contract with Carphone Warehouse to use your company as the sales rep, G,  offered a better deal and she seemed very confident and efficient. Carphone Warehouse warned me against using your company, but I foolishly thought that he was being a pushy salesman. I asked her how long it usually takes and I was told that normally it takes 3-5 days, but because mine was an upgrade and therefore didn't need a credit check, I would get it sooner.

On Thursday, 17 Nov, I received a phone call at 12:15 from G saying that there had been a problem with my order. She said that Vodafone had come back to them saying my details were incorrect and asked me if I had changed my name recently etc.. I said no and that I was confused because I have been with Vodafone for many years. She asked me to ring them and I did. The rep at Vodafone said that my details were the same that they had always been and then he warned me against using your company.

I then tried to ring G back and she returned my call at 1:40. I told her what Vodafone had said and that I was very unhappy because if I had stayed with Carphone Warehouse I would have had my phone by now as they had guaranteed Tuesday delivery. She said that it was Vodafone's fault and that she would personally make sure that the phone would be dispatched straight away. I wasn't happy about it, but decided to stay with her and agreed, but I asked her to ring me as soon as it went through so that I knew it had gone.

At around 3 I rang her back and was told (suspiciously after I gave my name) that she was on her lunch break. I then rang back a couple of hours later and was told that she was on the phone and would call me back (again after giving my name). I said I was happy to hold, but that I wanted to speak to her. The rep put me on hold and then came back saying that G was aware of my order and was taking care of it and would ring me back.

At around 7, I still had not heard from G so I rang yet again. Again once I gave my name she didn't want to speak to me so I told the rep I was not happy with that and he said maybe he could help and looked at the notes. He then told me that it had been delayed because of something about IMEI numbers not matching up in the warehouse, but that the phone would definitely be dispatched on Friday and as you send it next day I would definitely get it on Saturday. I got very upset and told him about what had been going on and that I wanted to cancel my order. He said that G was now free and would speak to me.

She said that the rep I had just been speaking to didn't know what he was talking about and that the phone had been dispatched that day, Thursday, and that I would receive it on Saturday. I told her that I had no reason to believe her, especially as if it had been dispatched that day, surely I would get it on Friday. She was adamant that it had been dispatched and that I would definitely get it on Saturday. I then asked for the tracking number. She told me that she couldn't give me the number because the warehouse was now shut, but that she would ring me the following day (Friday) with the tracking number. She also told me that a £20 cheque was being sent to me because of all the hassle I had to put up with.

Needless to say I did not get a phone call on Friday, nor did I get a phone. I then rang this morning and asked for the tracking number. The rep put me on hold and after being on hold for quite some time, another rep came on the line. His name was A. I then asked him for the tracking number and, after being on hold for a long time, told me that it had not been dispatched. I told him that I wanted to speak to a manger. Under duress he got one and L came on the phone. He told me that there had been a change to the order and that had caused the delay. There was nothing he could do other than ensure that the manager who had made the adjustment would ring me on Monday. I told him I was furious and explained all of the above. Only after I told him all of this, he then told me that the phone was no longer in stockNeither L nor A had mentioned this key bit of information earlier.

He then asked me if I wanted to order it or did I want to drop the order. I told him I definitely wanted to cancel the order. He told me that he would review the tapes, which I seriously doubt, and that I could make a formal complaint via post or this email and gave me the addresses. I confirmed that the order was cancelled, which he said he would do straight away, explained that I would have absolutely no further business dealing with you.

I don't wish for G to be fired, however I do feel that she, A and L should get into trouble and seriously reprimanded for lying and misleading a customer. Her for lying about the phone being dispatched and them for not telling me that the phone was no longer in stock. I don't expect anything to happen.

The good thing is that I can post this letter on a blog and thanks to social media a lot of people will see this and hopefully warned away from your company.

Faithfully,

F S
